Contemporary Spa-Inspired Bathroom Design & Installation

This latest bathroom renovation is a masterclass in making a compact space feel considered, generous, and genuinely luxurious. The brief was to transform a functional bathroom into a calm everyday retreat, somewhere that feels as refined as a boutique hotel, without sacrificing a single inch of practicality.
The result speaks for itself.

The Design

Large-format marble-effect porcelain tiles run continuously across both the walls and floor, creating a seamless, expansive backdrop that immediately elevates the space. The generous tile format minimises grout joints, contributing to the clean, uninterrupted feel that defines the room. Warm walnut-effect furniture and brushed brass fittings run as a consistent thread throughout, adding depth, warmth and a sense of understated luxury to what could otherwise be a cold, clinical palette. The two materials complement each other beautifully: the richness of the wood grounding the scheme, the warmth of the brass tying every fitting together into a coherent whole.

A sculptural speckled sage green countertop basin brings a quiet focal point to the minimalist scheme, while a full-width mirrored cabinet and integrated vanity storage keep every surface clean and uncluttered. The walk-in shower occupies its own clearly defined zone, enclosed by a single frameless glass panel that maintains the sense of openness throughout. Marble-effect tiles continue seamlessly from the bathroom floor into the shower tray, removing any visual interruption and making the room feel larger than its footprint. A ceiling-mounted brushed brass rainfall head, thermostatic controls and a handheld attachment on a matching brass slide rail complete a shower that feels genuinely indulgent. A recessed niche in the shower wall provides a neat, flush storage solution for products, keeping the tiled surfaces clean and clutter-free.

The Finishing Details

A wall-hung toilet with a matching brushed brass flush plate maintains the consistency of the scheme to the very last detail, while a recessed display niche above provides a styled shelf for plants and accessories, softening the room and giving it life. A brushed brass ladder heated towel rail on the opposite wall adds warmth, both literally and visually — the final touch in a spa-inspired bathroom where every element has been chosen with care. The project was completed in two to three weeks on site, a fully managed process from first fix through to final styling.
