Contemporary Shaker Kitchen with Forest Green Cabinetry

This project centred on creating a contemporary Shaker kitchen with a rich, refined palette and a clean, timeless feel. Deep forest green cabinetry, brushed brass hardware and soft white quartz surfaces were chosen to bring warmth, contrast and balance to the space, while the galley layout was planned to ensure it remained practical and easy to use every day.

The Design

Deep forest green Shaker cabinetry brings depth and character to the room, while brushed brass handles add warmth and contrast. Paired with soft white quartz worktops and a full-height quartz splashback, the finished scheme feels calm, balanced and well resolved.

The galley layout makes the most of the available space, with long runs of cabinetry providing generous storage and clearly defined preparation, cooking and sink zones. At the far end of the room, natural light draws the eye towards a relaxed dining area, helping the kitchen feel brighter and more open.

The Finishing Details

Discreet under-cabinet lighting brings both function and atmosphere, casting a soft wash across the veined quartz surfaces and highlighting the quality of the materials and finish. Integrated Bosch appliances sit neatly within the cabinetry, preserving the clean lines of the design.

The result is a kitchen that feels as practical as it is refined, combining strong visual character with the ease of everyday use.
