Sleek and Modern Bathroom Renovation in Matilda Gardens

The Brief: After originally contacting us a year ago, Dr Amieth unfortunately experienced some health issues that lead to him putting his bathroom project on hold. Earlier this year, he got back in touch with the team as he’d been very happy with the service we’d provided him so far, and booked an appointment with interior designer Agnes.

The existing bathroom was quite plain and outdated, and Dr Amieth wanted something updated and modern, whilst keeping the layout of the room as it is. Agnes attended a site visit to enable her to get a feel for the space, take measurements and sit down with Dr Amieth to go through some bathroom inspiration, show them completed projects we’ve done recently and get more information that would help her design the bathroom.

The Design: When creating the design, Agnes opted for products she knew would make better use of the space available. For example, where they had been a basin with a pedestal, she choose a basin with a vanity unit, using the same amount of space but providing storage and a modern feel to the room. The vanity unit was an eye-catching piece, being a little different from the average unit, as you can see in the images. The marble top adds luxury to the space.

The customer wanted a modern and clean feel, and Agnes also used some textures throughout, such as in some of the tiles, to add to the impact of the room. Agnes also added some recess shelving for extra storage and to add to the overall look of the room, and the bath panel was created using the same tiles in the rest of the room, resulting in a sleek and stylish finish.

The Installation: The installation of the bathroom went smoothly, the family remained in the house whilst the project was undertaken so our installer was very careful to be respectful of their space and communicate what was going on to them.
